“…Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.” Ps. 96:6
The KEY to real true beauty ladies - is in the sanctuary of
God. Real authentic beauty comes from
spending daily, regular and consistent time in the presence of God; speaking to
Him, hearing from Him and receiving direction from Him, allowing Him to
transform you and fill you up with an abundance of His love, mercy and
grace. When we are overflowing with His
love, mercy and grace it has nowhere else to go but to pour out into the lives
of those around us. Making us more
loving, kind and merciful towards others. This is beauty from the inside out.
Each time Moses (in the bible) left the people to go into the presence of
the Lord, he would come out with his skin glowing so bright with God’s
glory. As he went in to speak with God
and to receive direction from God, he was beholding the glory of God and it was
evident to all that he had met with God.
After some time however, that brightness would begin to fade away until
Moses went back into the presence of God.
In the meantime he would put on a veil to cover his face as the brightness
began to fade so others couldn’t see it fading.
Now because of Jesus, the veil has been removed! Today, we have
freedom and daily access into the presence of God, allowing us to behold His
beauty on a daily basis. This beauty
never has to fade! As we spend daily,
regular and consistent time with God, He will transform our minds, our hearts, and
our lives and we will begin to look more and more like Him; He will make us
beautiful from the inside out. Our lives
will reflect His beauty and His glory. This is the most incredible beauty treatment
you could ever receive!
“Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken
away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and
where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as
in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image
from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.” (2Cor. 3:16-18)
As we all know, some of the best beauty treatments can cost
a fortune…but the best part of this beauty treatment is that it’s free to you although
it truly is an expensive treatment that came at a very high cost. Jesus, the perfect gentleman that loves you
SOO much paid for it because He thinks the world of you and that you are worth
it! He’s got crazy, mad love for you and
is waiting everyday for you to meet with Him and to spend time with Him so that
He can give you the most amazing beauty treatment ever!
Some of you may not know exactly how to spend time with Jesus,
as it may seem awkward and/or weird to hear the words “spending time with God/Jesus”. It’s simply setting aside a designated time
in your schedule to sit and talk to God about everything, pray, worship,
meditate on scriptures and being still and quiet.
Some ideas of what to do when you spend time
with God:

Play worship music
·
Get on your knees and give God praise and thanks
for all the awesome things in your life
·
Pray and talk to God about your day and whatever
is on your heart (anything goes! He
wants you to be comfortable talking to Him about EVERYTHING!)
·
Pray for others
·
Read and meditate on bible verses
·
Spend time being quiet before God and practice
listening
·
Journal and write down whatever God lays on your
heart and speaks to you
·
Receive His love, mercy and grace
